Slaaaamdaaaance!
Dammit! I have this massive desire to go to the Slamdance Film Festival for the world premiere of Ringers this weekend, but it's totally horribly impossible. It's in Park City, Utah, of all the random places. Dude, film festivals are supposed to be in LA! That's the whole point of putting up with living here. And short of that, I mean, come on, [info]commodoremarie and I should get free tickets to it. Man, we should have tried to get Cliff drunk or something. Or taken advantage of him on karaoke night when he already was. Aww.

Suppose we'll have to settle for beaming him and his little team best wishes and hoping they get a good distribution deal. And a soundtrack, baby! The world NEEDS "Where There's a Whip, There's a Way"!

Totally!! I nearly bought WWS's cd and realized that the song isn't on it (I'm cheap and just want that song). I want to listen to it over and over again until I'm sick of it! :D

that song can already be bought on a cd. check at tower records in the lord of the rings section and find the animated version's soundtracks. it is on one of those.

Yes, but it's not the rock and roll version that will be in the "Ringers, Lord of the Fans" movie. It was covered by World Without Sundays at the ORC convention last weekend. They did an awesome job.

OMG, yes! I actually bought their CD anyway, as it was cheap on their website and I really liked them at the concert. When I ordered it, I put a comment in the comments box just totally begging them to release "Where There's a Whip". And they emailed me to let me know it was definitely going to be on the Ringers soundtrack! So, yay! That makes it sound like there's going to be one after all!
